These colorful, marbleized, portable chocolate domes are packed with the flavors and textures of some of Susanna’s favorite desserts, which include a kalamansi meringue pie, and the vero, a silver blue bonbon that houses a mix of sea salt caramel and crunchy pecan bits.

The Brazen Head at 228 Atlantic Avenue in Brooklyn now carries Beleza de Minas artisanal cachacas. These are "cachacas de Minas" made in a small alembic (pot still). Two varieties are available, silver and gold. The gold is aged in umburana wood giving it a very distinctive flavor and smoothness.

I have also heard really good things about another small place that is located in an Indian grocery near U-M's north campus, named Foods of India. (1143 Broadway Street in Ann Arbor). They apparently will make take out food while you wait. I haven't had the chance to try them yet--they're on my list of places to get to.
We have three staff members from India, and I asked them where their favorite place to get Indian food in Columbus was. All three independently told me (after saying that nothing was as good as being home) that Amul India is their fave in town. Two of them took me to dinner there, and I agree that it was wonderful.
