I have also heard really good things about another small place that is located in an Indian grocery near U-M's north campus, named Foods of India. (1143 Broadway Street in Ann Arbor). They apparently will make take out food while you wait. I haven't had the chance to try them yet--they're on my list of places to get to.

Utsav is a really exciting addition to the dining options of this area! It's the kind of restaurant where you instantly know there is a real and serious cook (and management) behind your food: we have not had any indian food in the area that comes close.

At her NYC chocolate shop Stick With Me Sweets, Susanna Yoon (formerly of Per Se) makes edible miniature works of art. These colorful, marbleized, portable chocolate domes are packed with the flavors and textures of some of Susanna’s favorite desserts, which include a kalamansi meringue pie, and the vero, a silver blue bonbon that houses a mix of sea salt caramel and crunchy pecan bits.

I enjoyed dinner at Sahara in Pasadena tonight with family and friends. Sahara is owned by an Armenian/Lebanese family with the type of fare one would expect with the mention of these two cultures. I am a relative novice to alot of cuisines, and this assimilated cuisine is no exception.

I was driving through Englishtown today, and saw this place, before the auction/fleamarket, on the right hand side (Not sure if it's Wilson Ave. or Englishtown Rd. at that point). "Coming Soon" in the window, written out in blue duct tape. It was a standalone building adjacent to a strip mall that had a DD and a Subway.

I have not heard of any free-standing specifically Indo-Chinese restaurants in the Boston area. However, some postings on this board have indicated that Namaskar in Davis Square is increasingly adding some Indian-Chinese items to their menu, such as chilly chicken and gobi manchurian.
I enjoy foie gras too. Other than the cold dense foie gras at Restaurant Bloom, the last time I had foie gras on my annual visits to Grand Rapids was at Gibson's, which closed a few years ago, unfortunately. Only the finest dining restaurants are likely to have it, and there are only a few such places in GR.
My beer (Kingfisher draft) could have been colder. The service was a bit oppressive with constant inquiries about "How is everything?" Dil Se has a full bar that we didn't try. I'd give Dil Se a strong B+. It's worth your effort to seek it out and try it. Dil Se is in downtown Portland at SW 12th Ave & Jefferson St (walking distance for us).
We have three staff members from India, and I asked them where their favorite place to get Indian food in Columbus was. All three independently told me (after saying that nothing was as good as being home) that Amul India is their fave in town. Two of them took me to dinner there, and I agree that it was wonderful.
Is Indian Accent more expensive than Junoon? Junoon serves what probably is the best Indian I've ever had. And while I don't object to their prices, I have been troubled by the over-formality of the place (which may well be a cultural difference; perhaps high end Indian still is very formal, even while high end New York restaurants have for the most part become more relaxed).
