i just tried making fudge for the first time tonight--thankfully not for any real reason, just as a test. it's not setting very hard, AND at the same time is sort of grainy. not badly grainy, just tastes like alot of sugar. i tried googling for the answer and apparently if it's too soft it's UNDERcooked, but if it's grainy it's OVERcooked. i've decided to go with undercooked for this one.

We eat and shop seasonally, and preserve a lot of summer fruits and vegetables to enjoy the rest of the year. Some of the things I've put up I won't bother doing again (I'm looking at you, asparagus), but there are some things we do every year, like strawberries (mostly in jam), stone fruits (jams and pie fillings), apples (dried and sauce), and tomatoes (sauces and salsas or frozen).
In addition, PCBs often co-occur with chemicals such as dioxins and furans that pose their own threats, in many cases much greater threats than from PCBs. Studies that deal with PCBs as a large group but fail to consider congeners and co-contaminants are now considered rather simplistic and are generally of limited value.

I use the forum as my home page because it used to be on the home page, then i use the bar at the top to see the latest vids, because there's too many thumbnails and categories on the home page and i get confused, i'm fairly sure i've missed stuff since the redesign but i try not to dwell on it.
