On the flip side, you should reincarnate when you've gained a lot of subclass mastery since the last reincarnation and/or have access to better leveling (i.e., maxed out elite 4 squad). ...

EPR-radar 3 years ago #4 The bottom line is to not worry about the blue/orange bars, or about accumulating bonus points to base stats via stored reincarnation levels. Those mechanisms from earlier games are still there, but are pretty much made obsolete by the new class mastery mechanics.

One skill sacrifices the angel to bring another unit back to life (good for if/when a main damage dealer gets taken out unexpectedly), and the other skill is a map-wide heal of every allied unit (good for topping up everyone's HP in character world from falling damage and the like before moving on).
The combination of rage charge + impact charge + fighting spirit is also effective for clearing out the bank guards. My preferred way of doing that at the moment is to have these all on a single elemental magic damage dealer (e.g., a magic knight). With this, the bank guards can all be taken out in a single turn.

Land Decimator, like other unique skills, uses the stat(s) matching whichever weapon you have equipped. Increasing its power does make a difference (in fact it makes a huge difference compared to what it starts at), it's just so weak to begin with that even fully maxed it still displays as the lowest rank.
