Yeah, a number of the guides can be a little iffy on the requirements for it to count. A good several of them think it only counts if you lose the card in Dollet (method 2a), and don't even account for the notion of losing the card elsewhere and then talking to her.

Doesn't Timber have a bad rule set when you're trying to get the Angelo card? I can see that might be a pain also if the rng does get locked. Maybe getting into a battle may also change something if that is the case as well. I finished my playing session today when I got the Angelo card and before the mission.

From now on, any card that you give the queen at her request (this does not include any other cards that you might lose to her) can be reclaimed from her son. When you lose the card she wants, it goes automatically into her son's hand (so long as you're shuttling back and forth from Balamb to Dollet) so that you can get it back.
Well, that's a tough question. The ball dance demo is just part of the demo for PlayStation 2. I don't think Square will re-developed Final Fantasy VIII for PlayStation 2. I guess the demo is there to show the capabilities of the PlayStation 2 and tell people how many times advanced it is over PlayStation.
For Final Fantasy VII / Final Fantasy VIII Double Pack Edition on the PC, FAQ/Walkthrough by Split Infinity.
Just simply get back to Squall's desk, pressing X on the study panel and you will be able access the student's network. Next pick the first option [Tutorial], and you will be able to take your first two Guardian Forces: GF Quezacotl and GF Shiva. You will be asked to name the GF and thus being brought to the screen where you name your characters.
This may seem like a stupid question but I have never played Final Fantasy and I'm having a hard time starting out with this one. My warrior is getting damaged enough in normal fights to need cures from my white mage so by the time I make it to fight Garland I have no more mana...
Is there a better action rpg on the PSN that I should buy or should I stick with FFXV/Berseria? "I'll hone my mind and become one with Pokemon!" ~ Unova Pokemon Champion Iris IGN & FC: May (ORAS) Nick (XY), 184825901230. User Info: soldjango. soldjango 2 years ago #2.
Your priority is to mug the left and right Probes for Vit Up and Str Up items. Your third character can attack the main body (with Thundaga junctioned, you can hit the damage limit). The boss starts off in mobile mode which isn't too threatening - it will counter attacks with Twin Homing Laser which does manageable damage.

More than anything, this isn't as big a project as some of the other ones I made, since this is a PSX game and I can't change too many details, but I plan on reworking how the party works, reworking the spell and ability system, who learns what and from where, and I'm trying to make the game offer greater challenge with a somewhat to greatly adjusted script.
Someone told me there was a Regalia shop, but I'm not seeing the option for it. Is there a way to unlock it? EDIT: Apparently you get it in chapter 3, but I have no idea how to pull it up.

TBH, NCU is almost like MFO, but if you need to grind to get some experience in fighting where EVERY action and ATB cancel counts, do so. I'm running a NCU run up to CH 10 or so anyways. I may try a No Stagger allowed run, this may be interesting (Bosses only, ofc) No stagger sounds painful as hell lol I dunno about MFO.
I am not talking about NCU I am talking about NCU NEU no equipment upgrade its a little tougher then NCU.In NCU I defeated him on my 4th try and I had underlevelled equipment adamant bangles, save the queen*,nirvana lv.40 and partisan* no wurzites!
