TBH, NCU is almost like MFO, but if you need to grind to get some experience in fighting where EVERY action and ATB cancel counts, do so. I'm running a NCU run up to CH 10 or so anyways. I may try a No Stagger allowed run, this may be interesting (Bosses only, ofc) No stagger sounds painful as hell lol I dunno about MFO.

I've seen various typology forums where she has been predominantly typed as an ISTJ, yet those who go by socionics type her as an 'SLE' which translates to an ESTP. The latter makes no sense to me as Light is clearly introverted.
So people, finally arrived at Barthendelus in my NCU playthrough, and judging from my fights with him, yes, he can be defeated in NCU, i'm pretty confident that i can do it. The only problem is his major move, but with a party with 2x defenders, Snow as a leader with 1000+ HP, i really think it's possible.
This enhancement will be listed under the character’s passive ability list at the Status and Equip screens. Both weapons and accessories can belong to Synthesis Groups, so a character can have up to five items actively contributing to synthesized abilities, with a maximum of two synthesized abilities active at one time.
This may seem like a stupid question but I have never played Final Fantasy and I'm having a hard time starting out with this one. My warrior is getting damaged enough in normal fights to need cures from my white mage so by the time I make it to fight Garland I have no more mana...

More than anything, this isn't as big a project as some of the other ones I made, since this is a PSX game and I can't change too many details, but I plan on reworking how the party works, reworking the spell and ability system, who learns what and from where, and I'm trying to make the game offer greater challenge with a somewhat to greatly adjusted script.

Someone told me there was a Regalia shop, but I'm not seeing the option for it. Is there a way to unlock it? EDIT: Apparently you get it in chapter 3, but I have no idea how to pull it up.
Yeah, a number of the guides can be a little iffy on the requirements for it to count. A good several of them think it only counts if you lose the card in Dollet (method 2a), and don't even account for the notion of losing the card elsewhere and then talking to her.
Was wondering after you beat the game. If there is a lot of end game content and side quests. Also is there any bosses that compare to emerald and ruby as for difficulty.. Im at the last boss now. i just hope im not disappointed in a lack of things to do. Hope there is 100 or 200 hours of stuff to do. not just catching mirages and levelings ...
I've been playing a good 10 hours, mainly grinding, and I've just blasted through to open up the wider world. How long does this game take? I want to finish it, find it to be quite a fun old game, but the lack of any substantive story really means I don't want to be spending any more than about 30 hours or so on it.
