As a former zing employee I have to say that it is well worth the trip (about 40 min. from Southfield). I still long for a zing sandwich at least once a week while sitting in nyc the place where all the "great" delis are. I could go on and on about how great this place is for service and selection, but I am biased. I deeply miss the place. -r.l.

If you want to experience true Kerala food, then I would strongly recommend finding an authentic Kerala restaurant instead of South indian restaurant. I strongly believe, the so called South indian restaurants cannot do justice to the food.

Best place to wait for your rental to be ready: Quagmires, MP 8 on the beach road. Generous drinks and oceanfront deck make this a great stop. Best lunch: Outer Banks Brewing Station, MP 9 or 10 on the highway. Really innovative menu, great wine list for the area, and good beer. But when you order the bitter, take the name into account!

The problem is importation. Between the OLCC perpetually dragging their feet on listing niche market items, low sales, and high import prices....Shochu is far and few between to be purchased retail. The best selection for a restaurant is Ping. good luck

Restaurant Aurora (in the Radisson hotel) is a member of a Northern group of restaurants that offers traditional ingredients. That looked promising – except they proudly advertised their specialty was Memphis-style ribs and the rest of the menu was typical of a U.S. Roadhouse style menu (but did have the ubiquitous reindeer).
