The first RPG Turret is to your right when you move past the Bot Shutdown Panel, simply use Telekinesis to launch its grenades back at it. I chose to go ahead and kill Slate (after listening to that last Voxophone and all). Afterward you can claim the Shock Jockey as your own. SHOCK JOCKEY: Press L1 to shock an enemy in front of you. Hold and release L1 to create shocking traps. These traps connect to form networks of damaging electricity.
Head back out and check the next left room to see some photographs and search a [_DESK_]. The room on the right has some soda pop but not much else. Carry on and underneath the next blackboard is a [_VOXOPHONE_]. So, he has cancer. Interesting. Now, check BEHIND the desk (from the right side) to find an [_INFUSION_] hidden away. Tricky!

Head back out into the main hall, and search the desks behind the small divider to find a gold bar and a silver bar. You can also find a Voxophone ("A Child Needs A Protector") in the corner near a few chalkboards. Finally, pick up the Undertow Vigor near the dead troop. This is another extremely useful vigor: it's right up there with Shock Jockey.
Grab it and jump into the portal. After coming out the other side, cross over. Work your way east, till you get to the room with a sight stealer and Waystone #2. Take out the sight stealer, use the Waystone, and cross over. Head west two rooms and north to find a portal with a chest next to it. The chest is a Skill Attack++ Shadestone. Hop in ...
Note that you can catch him off guard and jump over him to attack him from above. The first time you do this he won't block your attack, but he will after you've engaged him. It's not a bad idea to farm this enemy here, it gives 40 Geo and you can fight it over and over again, just don't go overboard, Geo will be plentiful later in the game.
