Death--If your character dies, and your party is unable to immediately revive you, you have the option either: 1) to remain dead, incurring the XP penalty only (don't worry, it will rarely be more than 1-2 battles' worth of XP), until the party can return to town and pay a priest (fee will increase linearly with the player's level), or
basically the level cap is the PS1 version -4 levels for all area's that are before the ones that have no level cap. So while Dharma temple past = level 24 for the PS1 version it will be level 20 for this 3DS one not like that really matters the new slime forest area has a job level cap of 19 and if you have access to the jobs for this version at level 14 to 15 then just abuse that slime ...

It does only have 300 HP max, but being of the Metal monster family is immune to all spells except healing, it gets 255 MP at lvl 8, and knows both Kaboom and Kasizzle! However, the incredibly ridiculous odds of recruiting this monster makes it an incredible time wasting maneuver to recruit.

Try talking to the guy with the weird hat inside the house at the Monster Meadows (via Nottagen Present or the portal in the underground part of Haven). Since you have Aishe, that means you finished the Nottagen plot and should have full access to tablet making for any monsters you've tamed.
that is where i ended off on both of them to i felt like i was missing something with the other one i didnt have merv in my party tho no idea if that had something to extend it further. the first one i found the ending nice with aishe a nice little side story that actually outright tells you who she is.

The only canon names are Eleven or Hero. For the most part, they have always been the number of the game or hero, though many choose to use Erdrick or Loto, the two different versions of the hero's ancestor in the original game's lore. Erdrick/Loto isn't exactly a name, but a title as revealed in Dragon Quest III.
