My Dehillerin copper sauté pan just turned silver after cleaning it with barkeeper's friend and using it on my gas stove! I did not boil it, so don't know how zinc transference could have occurred: any remedies? I have enough stainless cookware: want my copper to look, well, like copper! Please help! Thanks in advance.

Upon removing the caramel, I noticed a shiny spot on the bottom. It is also rough whereas the rest of the lining is smooth. I see no copper poking through. Have I just removed some build-up on the tin that will recover, or did I damage the tin and need to have it retinned? Thank you for your help.

It's supposed to be 'no name brand' but commercial quality cookware. How does it compare to , say, All-Clad, which I have some of and like , just dont feel like shelling out $100 every time I want or need a new fry pan or sauce pan. Was looking at some Cuisinart on eBay when I spotted this NSF stuff, which is also on Amazon and other sites.
joethesmith asked Chowhounds for user experiences with a KilaChef 11" Tri-Ply Copper Bottom Saute Pan. It sounded intriguing to some, but joethesmith bought another pan, and no user ultimately responded. This, IMO, is where this should have ended. Except Franz replied, not as a user, or even a CenturyLife life product evaluator.
