HI, The problem is I am unable to ping the machine. It is acquiring the IP address and it is also able to access Internet, however when I am trying to ping from other machine its not pinging.
Ive noticed that when I check, there's usually one or two other guys with the same ping, but pretty much everyone else is in the low 30s. I played since beta on the same isp, router, all that, and never had a problem, and I've even increased my speeds since then. Ive tried restarting the router, port forwarding, etc, to no avail.

Hi, I have been able to ping the FQDN of a domain (abc.local), but can not ping the NetBIOS name (abc). I checked WINS and "ABC" domain has the 4 entries needed and flushed the cache using nbtstat -R.
Maybe the IP address is used internally and not internet IP address. You might want to verify with the service provider. Or it could be that the service provider block the ping from internet.
