Each regiment can have up to two types of skills, and order of priority is assigned via character order in the regiment, so if all three members have different skills you won't be able to use the third member's skills. Usually each character has 1 use of their skill, but certain characters have 2. ... and you can listen to Cornelio's music test ...

Accel and Paralyze are good spells to use, but Silent is best left to Fairies. Accel increases a unit's MOV stat (helpful for Hydras), and Paralyze has a pretty good chance to make a target immobile. Archers are worth using, if not just because they can become Artemi. In a choice between Archers and Lancers, I would really consider using Archers.
