Tl;dr version is: i am melee support in a pub with melee carry (with no reliable stuns/slows) and is it viable to sit in lane supporting him against 2ranged heroes? Then comes ganking (and how to gank) vs supporting part. In optimal situations ofc beastaster/dark seer SHOULD solo offlane but you cant always afford it in pubs and you don't want to lose.
