Use an Arcane, Altered, or Burst Arte (or an Intermediate or higher spell) and hold your attack button. If it connects, you will perform a devastating Mystic Arte.

Those names were based on the monster faq - I didn't compare yours (sorry). I tried to message you to mention the updates so as not to call you out in public, but I wasn't able to. Mastering each boost will reduce the consumption of SDP by half, meaning that you can equip more status boosts with less SDP; and because you will be facing tons of encounters throughout the game, you shouldn't be having trouble mastering all the bonus boosts before you challenge the final boss.
