I think it's trying to help people have a more accurate view of the people's relationship to their government. Income tax itself is your money and your family's money and your neighbor's money. It's our money. When we get an income tax rate reduction or (in some states) a kicker, it's not a gift, but it's our own money being returned back to us.

Dunno if your post is misandric, mysogynistic or both. I remember a case where a teacher was molesting her student, she got preggers and they forced him to pay child support. Which I will admit is pretty f'd up. I get it on a "legal" level. The govt would much rather some guy pay for the kid then the govt needing to provide support.
The "best country in the world" conceit is what most will think of their own country, it's natural. I'm not American, so given what I consider to be an unhealthy gun obsession and an insanely high rate of mass shootings, the US falls into the "it's a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there" category.
In order to continue to willingly keep yourself in ignorance, you post a site that hasn't updated in months. A site which has no ties to any government body. Now your common sense is also telling you that court attendance statistics are being kept for every single step in the trial process and not just an overall number.

I saw a recent episode of the Michael Brooks show where he pointed this out. Basically the idea is that most of humanity is going to become redundant thanks to automation, and rather make changes to ensure human worth, value and meaning, we just giver everyone a couple of thousand dollars a month so they don't starve to death, end up homeless and can keep themselves entertained as broad ...

Board_hunter567 posted... I live in the South, so I can honestly say the best way is by helping them. Not in the ways that the ignorant want to be helped I mean help them by fixing voting rights, restoring employee rights, giving them good healthcare, offering education, creating modern and sustainable jobs, bolstering employment assistance programs, reduce the cost of living, fix the housing ...

I am talking about climate change, trade rules, technology standards and preventing excesses and contagion in financial markets. If your country wants to have a say in how those problems are solved — and your country’s name is not America, Russia, China or India — you need to be part of a wider coalition like the European Union.

New York is one of the few cities in the country with a broker industry that has such financial leverage over how people rent apartments. And the elimination of broker fees, in addition to the laws passed last year, pushes New York further as a national leader in creating rules favorable toward renters.
EPR-radar posted... Bond_543 posted... something being justified is not what people ought to do. Justification is not a moral commandment, but it is still a moral concept. Definitely seems like a CIA coup. Unfortunately Morales ran scared, same with his vice president citing fears for their families. This is different than the other Latin leaders that defied the CIA and stayed in office till they were assassinated.
Neither. I don't judge the poor. They're basically similar though; the main difference is that a NEET is less likely to behave in a manner that gets them kicked out. A NEET who's a drunk drug addict will probably become homeless real quick. Humble_Novice posted... they have the means to find work or contribute to society Mental illnesses disagree.
