Yesterday my brother bought MineCraft and then we tried to buy MineCraft for myself. When we used his credit card it didn't work. So with the cash I saved up to buy it I went ahead and bought a Visa Gift Card only to come to the same problem of it not being accepted.
If you are using a credit card from the USA it won't work because Minecraft (Mojang AB) is based in Sweden so you will need to use a credit card that is for international usage or a Paypal account. I know this isn't the best but this is the only possible way. Hope this helped :)

You can't use a debit card through paypal and not just your bank account? If I recall thats how I did it, no change to anything at all. Just entered my information - Though I used Visa, don't know if that matters. Do you have any recollection how you did it? I'm not seeing any option to upload funds from a credit/debit card.

Villagers are extremely foolish creatures (lol). If there is any possible way to die, they will use it. Seriously, villagers at my village would climb vines only to jump off and hurt themselves!
A while ago my friend pirated minecraft to play and i did too. and now me, him, and about 10 other kids play the pirated version of minecraft at school alot. i only did it because i dont have a credit card for paypal, after all im only 13 and my parents wouldn't cooperate either. is there any way to buy beta without a credit card?
For the past while (since the update came out) I've been working and fighting with my Nether portals, which refuse to work right. I will enter a portal, and then immediately leave the exact same portal, and I will instead apper in a new portal about 100 blocks away.
