In fact, wasting red herbs on your green+yellow mixtures is a bad idea, because then you'll either have a health increase that you'll want to sit on until the next time you get low on health, or you'll waste a full heal just for that small max health increase. G+R+Y mixtures do sell for a full 10k, though.
