Just simply get back to Squall's desk, pressing X on the study panel and you will be able access the student's network. Next pick the first option [Tutorial], and you will be able to take your first two Guardian Forces: GF Quezacotl and GF Shiva. You will be asked to name the GF and thus being brought to the screen where you name your characters.
----- The Sony SCPH~4000 PocketStation is an optical communication module (IRDA). A memory card device that can hold units of data just like any other memory card, the PocketStation was first on the market in Japan in 1998, but not released anywhere else due to technical problems.
Believe it or not, that's all that you need. When you go to Caraway's guard, he will ask you to give the student's ID number, and it will prompt you for the one's place, then the ten's place, then the hundred's place.
While these are the best ones you can exploit at the moment, feel free to accumulate other types of cards; while you can't do much with them now, you will be able to in the future once you have more Refinement Abilities. Don't forget to Junction any new Magic to reap the full benefits of it. The next question is whom to play.
It shows all the cards you have, and even the location of cards you've lost in card game with other people. Even cards that you have lost or refined will be there, but it'll tell you, that you have none of that card ... and if you refined the card you cannot retrieve it. There are 10 pages devoted to the cards.
Well, that's a tough question. The ball dance demo is just part of the demo for PlayStation 2. I don't think Square will re-developed Final Fantasy VIII for PlayStation 2. I guess the demo is there to show the capabilities of the PlayStation 2 and tell people how many times advanced it is over PlayStation.
Every 24,575 steps (note that a visual "step" is actually 3-5 steps, and driving cars or riding Chocobos counts as 5-7 in that distance), you'll be paid a fixed amount based upon your SeeD rank, and your SeeD Experience decreases by 10. SeeD Salary will be your main money source early on. The table below lists the pay amount for each SeeD Rank.
At this stage, this will cause you to gain levels that you don't want and will certainly annoy you. The principal advantage of fighting Odin at this time is that you can draw Triple from him which is extremely good for junctioning.
Talk to Xu, Quistis and Cid and then go one screen to the right and talk to Seifer for another scene. Go back to the lobby area to receive instructions to go to the 2nd Floor Hallway. Use the elevator to go up and talk to the people here if you like. After a while, a Garden Faculty member will appear and call you forward.
Bomb especially is useful in this regard; high-level Bombs have both Firaga and Meltdown for you to Draw, the latter of which gives huge boosts to Vit and sets Vit0 when cast. Here, in the Garden's main hall, approach Fujin and Raijin for a scene (the Save Point is gone), then it's time to work your way around the Garden.

Doesn't Timber have a bad rule set when you're trying to get the Angelo card? I can see that might be a pain also if the rng does get locked. Maybe getting into a battle may also change something if that is the case as well. I finished my playing session today when I got the Angelo card and before the mission.

Your priority is to mug the left and right Probes for Vit Up and Str Up items. Your third character can attack the main body (with Thundaga junctioned, you can hit the damage limit). The boss starts off in mobile mode which isn't too threatening - it will counter attacks with Twin Homing Laser which does manageable damage.
The first thing you'll want to do is to get the Ragnarok back. Take the middle portal to find yourself on the large island north of the Centra Continent mainland. Head to the northeastern section of the island and look for a mountain range. Go around it to reach Forest of Solitude. If you already solved it, great, otherwise complete the puzzle.

Well, after all that talk, junction your members (excluding Rinoa) and save, then do yourselves a favour by returning to Rinoa's room to pick up the 2nd volume of 'Pet Pals'. Converse with Rinoa again when you're ready to go: - Not yet. - Yeah. * Rinoa and company will finally meet up with Deling, but he turns out to be a fake one.
