You get more spells per day at 2 intelligence intervals (16, 18, 20, 22 ect) I do not plan to get all Greater Intelligence, I'll take Improved Combat Casting, Epic Spell Penetration, Epic Spell Focus Necromancy, Epic Warding, Hellball, Ruin, Dragon Knight, and the rest in Greater Intelligence. Which means I get 6 greater Intelligence with pure wizard, and 7 with rogue/wizard.
Do your job right during the character creation process, and you won't ever have to mess with the other ability scores again. You get five additional points to apply to ability scores in your career (at 4th, 8th, 12th, 16th, and 20th levels). If you want that 18 or higher Dexterity, buy it with those points.

It is possible, yes. Just start killing a bunch of Police and Navy ships and eventually you will be friendly with them. However, most of the 9th level cleric spells aren't good compared to wizard 9th level spells anyway. Searing Light caps out at 10d8 against undead, 5d6 against constructs, and 5d8 against other. There is no way you can compare that to IGMS except that searing light also allows no saving throw.
I would assume so, but my gaming groups have always done the random stats. Roll 4d6 and drop the lowest six times, then put those into your stats as you see fit. I've even had some nice DMs that would allow you to reroll one stat if you wanted. I miss tabletop and wish I could get a group together again.

In a medium magic server, they will hold their own and can do even great things as long as their spells are not nerfed (which happens on A LOT of servers). Bards bring some great buffs and debuffs with their music and are a great multiclass to have. If spells are not nerfed, being an IGMS Sorc with max spell is youch.
