Luckly Because of Win CE, it is easy to set up a free ISP to use with Dreamcast...so no need to pay for Interent access with the dreamcast.

But yeah, you can play more than a few of those games over Openspy. Openspy is an unofficial server that emulates Gamespy. Any Gamespy game that didn't require a Gamespy ID login to play online will work with Openspy. Also, Xlink Kai is LAN tunneling software. It will work with any game that has LAN play (system link).
BFV Online Not Terrible, But Not Great Either. After playing the deluxe edition for 2 weeks now, my conclusion is that Battlefield V is closer to a generic FPS with 64 players than it is an exciting all-out-war that Battlefield has sometimes been in the past.
I'd say go for short names, though I say this because I do the same and have an opinion on that matter. I've always felt short names are easy to read and easy to say online.
