once you activate a character you cant deactivate them,unless you delete them and start a new character,if it says you can use 6 characters you can have all 6 activated,you can also increase that number with character unlocks,either bought from the cartel store or on gtn,on my server they cost around 240k-300k credits for a unlock slot,i think they cost 600 cc from the cartel store.
