I have not heard of any free-standing specifically Indo-Chinese restaurants in the Boston area. However, some postings on this board have indicated that Namaskar in Davis Square is increasingly adding some Indian-Chinese items to their menu, such as chilly chicken and gobi manchurian.

The street it's on, called Abbott Kinney, is also a great place to walk around and shop, and has other places to eat well, like Joe's, mentioned above. Joe's can get spendy, so it's a better deal at lunch. I'm guessing Sis is too young to drink, but I like Library Alehouse in Venice for great beers and good pub food.
I completely disagree. Some of us actually pay our credit cards off every month and wouldn't dream of "going into debt for a meal" -- using a credit card doesn't mean you can't manage your money, in fact that's part of how you build a credit history.

The original post mentioned credit cards, NOT debit cards; that said, I have never used a debit card at any place other than an ATM, so I was not familiar with other fees that could be charged. The link below explains the fees you refer to and is another reason NOT to use a debit card for anything other than getting cash.

Normally I wouldn't be excited about steam table food, but the steam table food at DJB in Carson was about a thousand times better than the freshly-prepared stuff at Barrio Fiesta, and the steam-table food at the various Manila Good Ha establishments is pretty decent.
