Personal choice because I felt like the man deserved a higher rank somewhere rather than lose his job, ship and just more. And I like him, good guy. This is the interesting thing about this game. It really seems like people who really loved ME2 didn't care for Andromeda, but those, like myself, who preferred the original ME really liked Andromeda despite its flaws. I think it has a lot to do with how you feel about open world games.
