I hope that the full upgrades get removed from the recharge menu. It’s kind of a pain to cycle from weapon recharge to life support with multiple hazard protections installed. It would be a LOT easier to navigate if the upgrades that were fully charged did not appear in list...

I discovered my own way to do it though, but it's a bit slower than adria. Everytime you reach a new level of the dungeon he gets like 3 new items, so just before you go to the next level, save, then go down, town portal to griswald, and if he doesn't have items you want load the game and do it again.
