They also have a tendency to destroy your portal. There is a simple trick to stopping these explosions: Cobblestone. Cobblestone is completely blast resistant to these fireballs, so you can just take a load and build a quick house around your portal. This will ensure a safe entrance and exit to The Nether.
You need to reach an EPF of 25 to have max protection. Prot I gives 3 EPF Prot II gives 5 EPF Prot III gives 7 EPF Prot IV gives 11 EPF So protect 9-11 across all pieces would put you at max, while you will still benefit from the other enchantments as well. i.e. 2 Protect 4 and 1 Protection 1, or 3 Protection 3 and 1 Protection 2.
Trying to login one account through two clients will obviously never work. The cost of Minecraft is so low, it's hilarious. Get another account. User Info: Hott_Shott. Hott_Shott 8 years ago #14. It is possible actually.. (one of you will have to host the server) You need to play via LAN on the same network.
From: Cyrus Maragrave | #009 What's to say that this guy isn't going to change a butt load of stuff and make his game completely unique from Minecraft though?. 1. It looks like a Minecrft clone. Has night/day, the grass is similar, has TNT, pretty much all the basic blocks of Minecraft.

Yesterday my brother bought MineCraft and then we tried to buy MineCraft for myself. When we used his credit card it didn't work. So with the cash I saved up to buy it I went ahead and bought a Visa Gift Card only to come to the same problem of it not being accepted.

The total [Enchantment Protection Factor] is the sum for all armor pieces, and capped at 25. An EPF of 25 can be reached by two level III pieces and one level IV piece (2*7+11=25). So the short answer is yes, but it is not worth using max protection enchantments on every piece or armor.

The mod Thermal Expansion introduces an item called the Magma Crucible, which can use buildcraft energy to convert various things into magma. Things included are stone (smooth and cobble, 24k MJ+1 block per bucket), Netherack (8k MJ+one block per bucket), and probably the best renewable option, blaze rods (8k MJ+4 blaze rods).
