This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Life is Strange is a story that starts off strong, but ends so messed up it can't explain itself. The positives of Life is Strange is that it brings storytelling to a new level for the video game medium and it's world provides a lot of things to discover.
The game play itself is also average. Some interesting combat mechancis in that different weapon combinations open up different skills, and the crafting mechanics shared across all your characters, are welcome features i've not seem on the other mmo's, but as will all mmo's its go here kill that go here collect this.

I've been playing DDO off and on for about 5 years. I've played alot of MMO's but this is the game I always come back to. The content and game play is the best. The developers do a good job at making each dungeon unique or adding little secrets and puzzles that adds challege to the dungeons.
Then they write themselves out of that corner with it. I think it is a hard 6. My score will not go any higher and will probably drop with time. The visuals and cinematography are where the money has been spent and of course it looks great. Sadly the story requires you to switch off your brain and not question what is happening to accept it.
Shortcomings: One of the major issues that FbW suffers from is the over reliance on what has been established in the past. While it does have alot of original comedy to hold you down, much of the easter eggs, fetch quests, main plot points, and even a sizable portion of jokes are call backs to the show.
Its an odd balance, at times I feel the game tries to drive home 'bigger is better' and suffers from large empty areas, such as the wild area. At others, routes are so short its just a few feet to the end. Story-wise, the game is just Unfortunately, Exceedingly average.
