Although Theodore doesn't have to save the world from being overrun by cyborgs like John Connor, the future of Her, in its own subtle way, is equally violent, emotional instead of physical. Because, at the outset, the filmmaker adopts a comic tone, the viewer may not be cognizant, initially, to the reality of their latter 21st century counterparts.

Delivering all of the catchy melodies and tongue-in-cheek self-deprecation that Blink fans could hope for in a brand-new, candy-striped and electronica-tinged package, the album is also helped immensely by the improved vocal interplay between Mark Hoppus and Matt Skiba, as well as the latter's inhabiting the role left by his iconic predecessor far more confidently and comfortably.
Ism reflects its many homes and the many sounds that feed into the music of the Windy City. Which might sound restless, except Paul exudes such confidence that no matter the session, his bass makes it all hang together.
The "team" is a group of five students who visit Las Vegas regularly and put into effect a sophisticated card-counting scheme that the casinos have been unable to break. An embrace between lovers, reunited — ever tighter. A spark set to a fire cracker. A slow burn. Lots of slow mo wide shots pan the film tine to reach over the 2 hour mark. ... But quite simply it's a masterpiece and I would definitely suggest an oscar might just be on the cards and if so it's 100 percent worthy. ... It’s tainted with a fresh paint of characterization and it drops you into a troubling Gotham city that is judgmental to ...
Ellen Page is a shining star here in a powerhouse performance where she truly commands the screen. Michael Cera is his typical hilariously awkward self here, while J.K. Simmons would have had my favorite performance here, if not for Page's turn in the lead role. The writing is very strong and some of the exchanges here were absolutely hilarious.
Anima boasts sleeker production and is more cohesive than The Eraser overall. However, I think I like The Eraser slightly more, probably because the melodies are just catchier on it. Nevertheless, Anima is a challenging marvel that rewards the listener if he or she perseveres through the first few disorienting listens. … Expand

Sahara is one of the best adventure movies of the 2000's. The plot is utter popcorn nonsense but the film is fun and the action is exciting. Sahara is a good modern-day competitor to Indiana Jones and Romancing the Stone.
