The Instrumental Sword is in Castle Valette and you must use Komachi to Honeysuckle it; The Seven Star Blade is in the Seraphic Gate on the Halgita floor. Both of these are unique items. - For power-leveling, equip 2 Wisdom Coins (+10% XP) on your main party. For Non-party-members, equip them with a Karathos Wristband.
So pony up with them Grinn Valestis and have yourself some fried squid. For defeating the squid you get your hands on the very nice Moon Blade for Vic that has a Life Drain effect. After cooking the squid Bobby Flay style, head directly south from the "chain link" and open the chest behind the rock formation to recieve a Memoirs of a Knight.
Head back out into the main hall, and search the desks behind the small divider to find a gold bar and a silver bar. You can also find a Voxophone ("A Child Needs A Protector") in the corner near a few chalkboards. Finally, pick up the Undertow Vigor near the dead troop. This is another extremely useful vigor: it's right up there with Shock Jockey.

After this cutscene, head back to Lutsk base for your next mission. Oleg will give you a choice to take the direct route or the indirect route.
Head back out and check the next left room to see some photographs and search a [_DESK_]. The room on the right has some soda pop but not much else. Carry on and underneath the next blackboard is a [_VOXOPHONE_]. So, he has cancer. Interesting. Now, check BEHIND the desk (from the right side) to find an [_INFUSION_] hidden away. Tricky!
I chose to go ahead and kill Slate (after listening to that last Voxophone and all). Afterward you can claim the Shock Jockey as your own. SHOCK JOCKEY: Press L1 to shock an enemy in front of you. Hold and release L1 to create shocking traps. These traps connect to form networks of damaging electricity.

- Blast the two alien turrets to unlock the door. Before you depart this room, go to the left corner (next to the door with the alien turrets) and scan the item for "Alien Turret Life Form". (Data bank #2) - Go through the door and go into the teleporter. Then get into the transport car.
These show the location of your destination(s), such as an active quest. There is a second marker that you'll sometimes notice on your compass, which looks like a small hollow triangle (not covered in the ASCII example). These small triangles denote a primary or secondary location you haven't found yet.
