I'm not sure where your seeing that it says that it support single card download play, but it doesn't support it. it even says on the third page of the instruction book (the one to the left of the system illustration and has the Nintendo Seal not the actual number three as the first parts aren't numbered) that it doesn't support it.

Have everyone step on them to open the first gates. There are two more gates after these, one on each side. Go to the right and assemble the ramp so the droids can get up, then go left, have Wicket crawl up, pull the lever, and assemble the grapple point so everyone else can go to the left gate.
