I've done it at about 16/14/11. I think I died via four dragons right before the final staircase four times and lost once immediately upon reaching Rhone (probably to an Attackbot). There were other loses in there, of course, but the heartbreaking ones at the end stick out the most.

Well, I generally had an easier time farming ECAP(S) items from the Gold Command MS on the Arabian subcontinent (though the Gaw is needed). The units in west Africa drop the thing so little, I end up going to sell off 99 units of Gouf data roughly 3 times before getting 1 ECAP(S).
